Coastlove
CoastLove works to bridge the gap between coastal conservation issues and low-income and marginalized communities. We address these issues through action, education, support, and on-the-ground projects and programs.
In addition to education and community impact programs we host cleanup and restoration events throughout the Keys with a plan to expand into south Florida and Central America.

Key West AIDS Memorial
The Key West AIDS Memorial is a permanent tribute to the people who have died of AIDS or complications related to HIV or AIDS. Their names are inscribed on granite monuments in approach to the Ed Knight Pier. While HIV is manageable, until there is a cure people will still die of AIDS or related complications.

Florida Keys Children’s Shelter
We have been providing services to children and families in Monroe County since 1985. Our Mission is: Safe Kids, Strong Families, and a Healthy Community! Our programs include:
Jelsema Basic Center - a residential shelter for unaccompanied youth that is available 24/7 365 days a year in Tavanier.
Community Based Counselors to help families throughout the Keys with school-aged kids at-risk behavioral issues including truancy.
Residential Educational Camps inclusing our school readiness.

The SBDC at FIU provides a public service, as a business consulting organization with the College of Business at Florida International University. The purpose of the center is to provide one-on-one business consulting and advisory services to emerging companies in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, as well as to pre-venture and startup businesses.
